The Challenges:
One Spartan Army - Kill 400 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2000cR
Well, this challenge should be taken care of today. You need four-hundred kills in Firefight Matchmaking and you do have a single Firefight challenge "Heroic Holdout" which will have you play a single game for about a hundred and twenty kills. However, you also have the Weekly Challenge. For that challenge, you will need to complete about seven rounds today which is about three games in the standard Firefight playlist. Go ahead and play a few extra to take care of this challenge and the Weekly for today.

Heroic Holdout - Kill 100 enemies on Holdout on Heroic in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2000cR
Now, the only reason I sort of like Holdout now is because of those static Banshee spawns which always help me out with the "Flat Tire" every so often. How do I feel about it when I do not need those vehicle kills? Meh. It is decent enough, I guess, but not one of the best maps I have seen. Now, your best option for this will actually be the Score Attack playlist. I do know that we need a lot of rounds for the Weekly Challenge, but it will be hard to get a specific map in the Firefight Playlist. Instead, you can play a single game of Score Attack and get all these kills in a single go. You should get about a hundred and twenty on average so this is pretty much taken care of.

If it Bleeds... - Find and kill the Gold Range-class Elite in any Campaign mission on Normal or harder. - 5000cR
One of the highest appearing Gold Range-class Elites, at least for me, has been on the mission ONI: Swordbase. You can load up Rally Point Bravo and precede to the base. The first location he may appear is at the top of the ramp running to the original starting point for the level. Track him down fast as he will eventually disappear. The second place he may appear is further in, near the Shotgun spawn for multiplayer. He is very easy to flank and assassinate. If he does not appear at either of those, you can easily restart the mission and try again.

Five-time Champ - Win 5 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 4343cR
Well, time to win some games, right? That is what this challenge is all about. Now, you need five wins today, which may very well take up to ten games to complete. The trick to scoring wins in Reach is to give yourself the right set up. First off, don't play games that have more than two teams (or FFAs). More teams automatically lowers you chances of winning. Stick with gametypes you enjoy and are comfortable with as you will likely play better in them. Finally, play with teammate you know and normally win with since you are more likely to win that way.
