The Challenges:
Light Fare - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 3000cR
So, you will be required to play in all the various modes of Reach today (short of Forge, Theater, and Custom Games) if you hope to complete these challenges. This one, however, is of no consequence and should take very little time. You have "The Little Guys" challenge asking you to score two -hundred kills and the "Heroic Overwatch" challenge asking you to score a hundred kills. That puts you at three hundred kills for the day excluding the multiplayer Matchmaking challenge. I think that takes care of this challenge.
The Little Guys - Kill 200 Grunts in Campaign today on Normal or harder. - 2500cR
Heroic Overwatch - Kill 100 enemies on Overlook on Heroic in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2200cR
You know, the first time I saw this challenge this morning, I thought it was the "Kill a thousand enemies" one. Luckily, you need to score a tenth of that on Overlook. Basically, you just need to complete a single game from the Score Attack playlist on this map. Games like Gruntpocalypse and 2X Score Attack will typically get you about a hundred and twenty kills so a hundred should be very easy to obtain. And yes, this should only take you a single game to complete.
Freelancing - Earn at least 21 kills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2100cR
This is the lone multiplayer challenge of the day, though, we have seen a lot of multiplayer this week. Twenty-one kills in a single game will definitely be a challenge for some as that is simply a lot of kills. Your best bets are the play objective-gametypes or games with a bunch of targets. If you can get both, even better. Try Grifball or Multi Team. Grifball just allows you to get a tone of kills and Multi Team can do the same if you can pick an objective gametype in it. This might take two or three games for you to hit.
