The Challenges:
Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2343cR
So, as is par for the course, after every Firefight Thursday, we get a Multiplayer Friday. Well, let's ignore the fact that some days would have sounded better with those (Firefight Friday, Multiplayer Monday) and focus on the task at hand. A hundred and eighty enemies should not too hard to hit today, but the other Daily Challenges will not get it done for you. After you finish the other challenges, you might be best off playing some Firefight Matchmaking to finish off these kills. Entirely up to you though.
T-Hug It Out - Kill 6 enemies with close quarters combat in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2400cR
If you have been doing that challenges long enough, you should now know that close quarters combat kills are kills with the Shotgun, Energy Sword, Gravity Hammer, Melee, or Assassination. You need six of these in a single game. Now, you can likely get these in a regular game or you can load up Grifball for this express purpose and only get close quarters combat kills. Personally, with the other challenges today you are probably better off in Multi Team where you can work on those other challenges.
I'm Rubber, You're Glue - Earn 1 sticky grenade Kills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2000cR
A single sticky grenade kill should not, actually, be too hard to come by. Most maps have plasma grenade spawns somewhere or you can go the easier route and simply try Elite Slayer, which you will commonly see in the Multi Team playlist. There is no real trick to this challenge, just stick one opponent with a Plasma Grenade and then let that grenade kill them. As simple as that. Move on.
Now I Have a Machine Gun - Earn 100 kills with automatic weapons in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 4500cR
Well, you knew there was going to be one challenge today that would cause you to cringe. It causes me to cringe at least. Automatic weapons in Reach (the AR, Needler, Spiker, Plasma Rifle, and Plasma Repeater) largely go unused in multiplayer unless you spawn with them. I would be tempted to say that the DMR probably has caused the most multiplayer kills in Reach, but that is speculation. Now Multi Team is probably the best playlist for this challenge (seeing a pattern yet?) as you practically always start with ARs. Expect this challenge to take a while however, as you may only get about ten kills a game. If you have a playlist you prefer, please share down below for the other readers.
