Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 6/16/11

The Challenges:

Light Fare - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 1000cR
This will be accomplished during your first Firefight game. All the other challenges are Firefight Matchmaking challenges, which means that you have no choice but to complete this challenge. As well, if you are going for the Weekly Challenge, this will get taken care of as well. This is not restricted to a game mode so it should not be too much of a problem. Just start up, get killing, and enjoy the extra credits.

Demon - Kill 40 Elites in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1400cR
After the various games you will play for the "Flat Tire" challenge, you will get about four or so Elites in each one. Then you need to play a game of 2X Score Attack to get the remaining twenty-five or so Elite kills. You might be one or two short, but try for it on a map like Beachhead so there is a chance of a Drop-pod dropping another four Elites which should push you over the top.

Flat Tire - Kill 10 enemy vehicles in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1125cR
I do not think anyone enjoys this challenge. Seriously, Bungie. Well, this will all be in 343's hands soon so, Please!, 343, bring drop ships and, by extension, enemy vehicles back to Firefight Arcade! Anyway, Sniper Attack on Holdout is your best chance of getting these vehicle kills. One a single game on the map. If you have the time almost expire, you can get, at most, five Banshees to kill. Most likely, however, you will hit about three or four. Sometimes it will only be two. Either way, plan to play multiple games. And if you cannot get Sniper Attack, go for FRG or Rocket Attack which should still be doable. Please note that vehicle kills do not seem to count at all on 2X Score Attack.

Katanarama - Kill 1 enemies using the Energy Sword in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1000cR
2X Score Attack is you best option for this challenge. The final wave will consist entirely of Elites, about twenty to twenty five. About half of them will be invisible and half of that group will be running at you with swords. They are not too hard to spot and will only take two shots with the DMR to drop. Once one is down, pick up his sword and get a single kill to complete this challenge. Easy as pie.
