Halo Reach Daily and Weekly Challenges Guide - 6/6/11

The Challenges:

Fire When Ready - Kill 50 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1500cR
Through completing eight games today for the "Credits of Completion" challenge, you should be able to bury this challenge rather easily. Fifty kills, as well, is only a third of what you should be hitting daily for the weekly challenge. Get into Grifball, or whatever gametype you do well at, and get to owning some noobs.

Cook 'em, Clean 'em! - Kill 10 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking while you're jet-packing. - 1200cR
Head for Team Objective or Multi Team. I would also suggest regular Team Slayer, but then it is much more likely that the player will pick Slayer Pro and the jetpack will not be an option at all. Once you are in a game with the jet pack, for a kill to count, the jetpack armor ability must be active and going when the kill occurs. It will not count if you are falling or threw the grenade while you were in the air. So, be careful with your jetpack so you have it when you need it.

Oops! All Kills - Earn 5 Multikills in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1000cR
This will be another reason to play Grifball today, though it is not necessary if you pick something like an objective game such as crazy king in a different playlist. Kill limits kill not only the number of kills you get, but also the various ways to get kills simply because people play differently in a regular slayer game. Five multikills is not too bad of a task and should be accomplished within a few games if you do not want to play Grifball.

Credits for Completion - Complete 8 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1400cR
Eight games should be simple enough. The strategy here is that once you have completed the other challenges and have met you daily quota of kills, head to the fastest gametype possible, which is Living Dead. Sparing a map like Swordbase where people simply hide on the ledge, these games should go very quickly. As well, if you feel like simply playing, then go play whatever gametype you wish. Have fun.

The Weekly Challenge:
All in a Week's Work - Kill 1000 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking this week. -15000cR
Grifball is the answer for this challenge, as it normally is for any challenge dealing with a large number of kills. You will need to hit a hundred and forty to a hundred and fifty kills a day in multiplayer Matchmaking total to finish off this challenge. In actuality, this challenge can be finished in three to four days if you simply play a lot of Grifball. That might be the option I will take just to get this out of the way. You can do this without Grifball, however, and I think that Multi Team is probably the next fastest way of getting kills. After that, probably SWAT, if you are good. Remember, about a hundred and fifty kills a day and you will finish this off within the week.
