The Challenges:
Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 400 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2000cR
Four hundred kills needed today and most of them, you will get in Multiplayer. Honestly, if you have the time, today would be a great day to polish off the Weekly Challenge, especially with "The Love of the Game" challenge. I know that I am sitting at about eight-hundred kills. Complete "Return of the Mack" first. Then grind out whatever you can in Multiplayer. If you are short on time, or simply not feeling like finishing off the Weekly today, jump into Score Attack and polish off the remaining kills.
Helping Hand - Earn 10 assists today in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1000cR
You needed to get twenty-five assists yesterday and, now, Bungie is asking us to add ten more to that ledger. Not at all hard and especially easy since the challenge does not need to be completed in a single game. I would say to simply go for this in Grifball while grinding out kills and game completion for other challenges. Focus on being the first to hit the bomb carrier. Then let someone else kill him and should be able to rake in an easy assist. You will also, undoubtedly bring in some assists just through regular play.
Return of the Mack - Kill 50 Elites in Campaign today on Normal or harder. - 1700cR
Remember when we used to constantly repeat that same part of Nightfall to get through this challenge? Good thing we found out how good ONI: Swordbase is on providing Elite kills. I know the challenge says normal, but set the game to Heroic to make it so less of your AI Teammates steal your Elite kills. If you do not die at all and just playthrough once, you will hit about thirty-five to forty kills. For the remainder, just load up Lone Wolf on Normal and polish off the challenge.
The Love of the Game - Complete 20 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2000cR
Twenty games. Well, I prefer this over the inane "Win Five" or "Win Ten Games" challenges that seem to haunt us constantly. Well, haunt me, at least. Living Dead and SWAT seem to still be the fastest games to play. A quick note, though. Do not sit idle in games. Bungie will smack you with the Ban-hammer if you do this repeatedly for a time. And do not just come one and pull the trigger every three minutes because they are catching that as idling now too. Or so, that is what I hear. I have no experience with idle bans myself.
Only two days left to complete the Weekly Challenge. See how to here.
