Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 6/9/11

The Challenges:
Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 250 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 1875cR
You will be raking in at least two hundred kills in Firefight Matchmaking today for the "Scoped" challenge. Couple that with the hundred and fifty kills, or so, you need for the Weekly Challenge and you should be all set. Like usual, this is just free credits that Bungie is throwing at us. One wonders if 343 will do the same as Bungie once they are in charge of the challenge system. Discuss that below!

Scoped - Kill 200 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking with precision weapons. - 1500cR
Sniper Fight is really the obvious choice for this challenge. If you are using a Sniper, large maps are key. This game and map type will also help you very quickly earn the Bulletproof challenge. But back to "Scoped," the larger enemies can be a serious pain once Mythic has turned on because you will often have kills stolen from you. The trick is to be the second shooter and not the first. Let the first guy take his shields down and then you grab the kill.

Survivor - Earn 5 Sprees in a Firefight Matchmaking game. - 1000cR
This will be not at all a problem to get when doing the Scoped and Bulletproof challenges. Not dying and have to get kills tends to lend itself to getting Sprees. Actually, that is the entire concept. This challenge will be completed in Sniper Fight by the time you hit twenty kills. Two killing sprees for ten and twenty kills and then an add three more sprees for five, ten, and fifteen kills via the weapon sprees for the Sniper. As you can see, it all works out very nicely.

Bulletproof - Complete 2 Rounds in a Firefight Matchmaking game without dying. - 1100cR
For this challenge, I recommend Sniper Fight on Beachhead or Glacier. Both have premium hiding spots (on the balconies for Beachhead and on top of the base for Glacier) that will allow you to survive for all three rounds if you feel like it. Well, just focus on surviving the two required rounds. Do not look past where you are at and end up getting smoked by a Grunt with a Fuel Rod Gun.
