Halo Reach Daily and Weekly Challenges Guide - 6/13/11

The Challenges:
Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1100cR
Like usual, a hundred and twenty kills in Firefight Matchmaking is a single Match of Score Attack. I will be suggesting that you play Sniper Attack, Gruntpocalypse, or 2X Score Attack on either Beachhead or Glacier for the "One Game, One Spawn" challenge. That should take care of this challenge. You should be right at, or just over a hundred and twenty kills. Just to be safe, Shoot the turrets off the Phantoms during the final wave and destroy any vehicles that drop as well. If you are a kill or two short, load up Crashsite and get that final kill or two.

Fire When Ready - Kill 50 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1500cR
If you are sticking to the plan for the Weekly challenge, you will be playing a whole bunch of games today. You should have no problem hitting fifty kills when playing that many games and especially if you decide to play Grifball or SWAT. If you are not going for the Weekly Challenge, then two games of Grifball should get this done for you.

Aggressive Negotiations - Earn at least 17 kills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1700cR
Load up a game of Grifball for this challenge. Seventeen kills is easily attainable and should be done within the first two rounds. This is also possible in several other playlists, such as Multi Team and Team Objective. Pick your poison and grind through this relatively simple challenge.

One Game, One Spawn - Complete a Firefight Matchmaking game without dying. - 2000cR
Hopefully, you will be getting this at the same time as the "Covenant-Cide" challenge. I would suggest picking a map like Glacier or Beachhead and a game like Gruntpocalypse, 2X Score Attack, or Sniper Attack. These combinations of map and gametype should give you the ability to complete the game with zero deaths if you use the hiding spaces on the maps. Hide in the balconies on Beachhead and on top of the base on Glacier. Good luck.

The Weekly Challenge:
That's Dedication, Holmes - Complete 150 games in multiplayer Matchmaking this week. - 10000cR
Extrapolate a hundred and fifty over seven days and that is looking like twenty-two games a day. I would like to say, first of all, What the Hell Bungie? Is this just a big giant middle finger to anyone with jobs or other stuff to do? Well, I probably will not be completing this challenge, but hopefully I can help everyone here who has time to get this done. But, I have a feeling that many will not complete this challenge.

First of all, SWAT, Living Dead, and even Grifball tend to have the shortest games. Since you are not going for kills Grifball can be a much faster game if you just focus on planting the bomb. On Living Dead, do not camp. Again, we are not going for kills, but for game completion. And in SWAT, get kills as fast as you can since that is how you complete the game. Mix things up. Games will get stale after a hundred and fifty playthroughs in a week. Spread out the games played as well and try not to have them all in one giant block. And, please, do not idle in games. Bungie will ban you for that.
