The Challenges:
Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3200cR
The challenges today will have you going through all the various modes of Halo Reach today sparing Forge, Theater, and the Custom Game modes. You should be able to finish off this challenge while working on the "Weapon Swap" challenge since I will be encouraging you to play in the Firefight Doubles playlist for this challenge. That should actually net you about a hundred and fifty to a hundred and sixty kills which will get this challenge done in a single game.
Weapon Swap - Earn 10 sprees in a Firefight Matchmaking game on Heroic or harder. - 2000cR
A spree in Firefight Matchmaking is earned when you score ten kills in a row. You can get up to five (fifty kills) but then the sprees get more spread out and you are better off dying to start over your spree. You may also be able to get weapons sprees with weapons like the Sniper, Shotgun, and Sword. These will likely only take five kills to reach and each weapon has three levels to its sprees. I am urging you to play in Firefight Doubles and, more specifically, in the Arcadefight gametype. Should definitely take care of you and I recommend playing with a friend. Good luck and good shooting.
L.D. Solace - Complete Long Night of Solace, without dying, on Legendary with Mythic, Thunderstorm, Tilt, and Tough Luck on. - 8500cR
Well, this is definitely the hardest challenge of the day and is actually just a hard challenge overall. Long Night of Solace on its own can be a complete pain because the second half of the mission is practically a bunch of Elites in small spaces. Now the skulls for this one are a little mean as well. The Mythic skull doubles the health of all enemies, the Thunderstorm upgrades all enemies, the Tilt Skull modifies the damage tables out of your favor, and the Tough Luck Skull causes enemies to dodge more often. Do not worry about not dying. In fact, die all you want. At the end, before walking over to Jorge to complete the game, Save and Quit. Then, hit Resume Campaign and finish the mission off. The game will then think that you played the whole level without dying and will give you your credits. Check this guide if you are having problems getting through areas.
Un, Deux, Trois - Win 3 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2900cR
Well, we see these challenges pop up just about every other day now. On the bright side, this one is only asking for three wins, not something irritating like eight or ten games, which we will probably get on another day this week. There really is no secret to winning game, you just need to be better and have a better team than your opponents. There are some tips I can give to weigh things in your favor, however. Stick to two team playlists as multiple teams will ruin your chances. Try to play with teams no greater of five, four is suggested. The bigger the team, the less you matter so winning is not as much in your hands. Stick to playlists you know and are good at. That one speaks for itself. Finally, try to play with friends as you all will likely work together better than complete strangers.

You should clarify here on out, on the campaign legendary challenges w/ skulls.. that they cannot be completed on Co-op.. as a friend and I spent 2+ hours on today's daily challenge, and it gave us no credit.
