Halo Reach Daily and Weekly Challenges Guide - 7/9/12

The Challenges:
Gunslinger - Kill 40 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 3500cR
So, even though the Weekly Challenge today is in Campaign (hurray! for LASO), all the other challenges today are in multiplayer Matchmaking. Luckily, none of them are particularly hard, including this one. Forty kills is a relatively low kill count for a single day in matchmaking and should be easily obtained by all. You should be hitting about ten to fifteen kills a game on average so expect this challenge to take about three to four games to complete. The other challenges will likely be done in that time as well.

Came From Behind - Perform 2 Assassinations in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2200cR
For those who do not know, and I don't know how you don't, and assassination is preformed when you sneak up behind an enemy and hold the melee button, thus triggering an assassination animation. These are not as easy to do as you might think unless you are in the right playlist but getting two in a game is very doable. Now, the best playlist for this challenge, in my experience, has always been Team Snipers since players seem to lose focus of anything that is not their sniper scope and are easily flanked. I have gotten upwards of five assassination in a single Team Snipers game. Also note that assassination in the air of on inclines occur faster.

Vengeance Found - Earn your 'Revenge' in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2000cR
I guess it is the plan of most people, after they are killed in Matchmaking, to go after the player who killed them and return the favor as fast as possible. Well, that is exactly what we need to do for this challenge. To get a "Revenge" medal in multiplayer Matchmaking, you need to go kill the player who just killed you. Their does seem to be some sort of timer on this or some other criteria, but it was never explained. Regardless, you have an advantage after you have been killed since you generally know where the other player it, but he/she does not know where you will spawn. You just need one, and then this challenge is done.

Fourth Horseman - Earn 4 multikills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 3500cR
A multikill is whenever you score two kills within four seconds of each other. You an stack this up to ten kills which will earn you nine multikills. However, you do not need to hit that many today, just four multikills in a single game. Now, a Double Kill is the most common multikill but you can get any combination of multikills for this challenge. If you happen to score a Killtacular, then this one is already done. For me, Grifball is always the easiest way to get multikills since the gametype is practically built for it. However, four is not a lot of multikills and you likely have a chance at this in any playlist.

The Weekly Challenge:
Exodus: LASO - Complete Exodus, Legendary, All Skulls On (LASO). - 15000cR

Ahh, back to the LASO challenges, which I know that everyone is just so fond of. I must say that I am a little disappointed with the credit reward for this one since Exodus is one of the harder mission on LASO difficulty. Now, for any who are unfamiliar, LASO stands for "Legendary, All Skulls On." Typically, they do not require the Blind Skull to be on (which means it is not actual LASO) but if you want to make sure, when looking at the challenge in Reach, hit "A" and it should bring you to the right lobby with the correct settings. You can do this solo or co-op and both has advantages. Enemies are easier to kill solo but dying means you start the whole thing over. Co-op has you only go back to a checkpoint if someone dies, but enemies are much harder to kill. Follow this guide to see shortcuts and tricks for the level and good luck.
