The Challenges:
Spartan Master Killer - Kill 10 Players in a single War Games match. - 800 XP
Eight-hundred points? What is the point of anyone trying to complete this challenge? You can get that in a single game. Makes no sense. Anyway, this first challenge, asking you to score ten kills in a single game can be completed in no time at all. First off, you need a playlist with a lot of player and no kill limit. That pretty much means Dominion or Grifball. I would head for the larger vehicles, like Scorpion and Wraith Tanks. Stay near bases to play defense and you should have no trouble racking up the kills. Grifball allows you to get an insane number of kills regardless. This is also doable in most other slayer-based playlists, just easier in Dominion and Grifball. Complete "Dominator" first, however.
Dominator - Win 2 matchmaking Dominion matches. - 625 XP
You know, I just never really got into the Dominion gametype. I guess I still miss Invasion, but hopefully that will be back for Halo 5. Now, Dominion is a gametype where there are three bases which you can capture and holding them for a certain amount of time gives you points. The first team to four-hundred points wins. Having a team that knows the maps and how to hold the bases is a must for this gametypes. If you have a lot of back and forth, the game will go on longer than it needs to. Now, you can also capture all the bases and then, if you kill the entire other team, the game will end with your victory. Just two wins for the day and you will be all set.
The Weekly Challenges:
Deft Hand - Earn 50 Combat Skill Medals. - 7000 XP
Combat Skill medals include the Killjoy, Headcase, From the Grave, Reload This, and Showstopper medals. You need fifty of these overall this week and so you will need to hit about seven to eight a day. Use precision weapons (DMR, BR, Light Rifle, Sniper) to score Headcase (headshot on a running target) medals and then use grenades when you are near death for the From the Grave medal. Reload This is pretty much dependent on the other player but people need to reload their weapons. Killyjoys and Showstopper are a bit more rare and harder to get so do not focus on them. You will likely not need to go out of your way for this challenge, just do the Daily challenges and these will handle themselves.
Removalist - Win 8 matchmaking Extraction matches. - 6520 XP
So when this is a Daily challenge only asking for five wins, we get about two-thousand to three thousand XP. Once it become a Weekly Challenge and adds three more wins, the XP rewards is suddenly doubled. Makes no sense to me at all. Now, Extraction is a newer gametype that is typically played on large maps. There are several objectives on the maps upon which your team is able to play a device to extra points essentially. This device can be taken over repeatedly by either team during its forty-five second space. Good teammates are a must for this playlist as you need to hold these two spots. Now, ten wins means that you will want to aim for about two wins a day. This will actually have you finish a couple days earlier but there is nothing wrong with that.
