Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 11/16/11

The Challenges:
Gunslinger - Kill 150 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 5500cR
A hundred and fifty enemies should be very easy to hit today as the "One Game, One Spawn" challenge will possibly have you playing multiple games of Firefight which will easily take care of the challenges. If you do get it done in one game, you will be bringing in kills from the "You Want This, Don't You?" challenge and from the "Pod Kettle Black" challenge as you will need to play through a portion of Long Night of Solace. This challenge should be well taken care of.

One Game, One Spawn - Complete a Firefight Matchmaking game without dying. - 2000cR
Gruntpocalypse is probably the easiest playlist in which to complete this challenge but there are other options. If you have a good team you can play in Firefight Arcade but you must be willing to sit back and let everyone else do most of the fighting so you ensure that you survive. Firefight Arcade will also last for a full set instead of the single round you would have to endure for Score Attack. I would personally stick to Score Attack since it really is just much easier in the end.

Pod Kettle Black - Kill 20 Elite Drop Pods in The Long Night of Solace. - 1200cR
Load up the level "Long Night of Solace" Rally Point Bravo. Play until you are attacking the Corvette. Fly down below the Corvette and you will see about four or six Drop Pods shoot out every often. These are what you need to kill and they can be very tricky to hit once they finish accelerating. Therefore, you need to hit them before they get going. Aim for them right as they drop from the Corvette and you should be able to bring in the kills. As well, the on screen challenge tracker tracks sort of slow so keep a mental count going.

You Want This, Don't You? - Earn 12 kills with precision weapons in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 3000cR
The best way to get this challenge is to play either Team Snipers or Team SWAT. Both games will start you with precision weapons and both give one hit kills if you get headshots. Twelve kills can be a hefty target for some so if you see a chance at an objective gametype in these playlists, go for it. Objective gametypes are great for racking up higher numbers of kills. If you are still having trouble however, stick to SWAT as it is the easier of the two playlists. Snipers just has a lot more camping.
