Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 11/3/11

The Challenges:
Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2343cR
It is another Firefight Thursday and all the challenges today can actually be completed in two games. This challenge will definitely take two games as you can, at maximum, get about a hundred and twenty kills in a single game. You will need to play another game to hit the additional sixty kills required to get these credits. You will be playing a second game regardless for the "Demon" challenge so this is not much of an issue.

A Simple Spree - Earn any spree in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2000cR
There really is no need to waste a lot of breath on this one since it is so easy. A spree in Firefight Matchmaking is ten kills without a death. You should get this in your first game, in the first ten kills. Not much more to say than that but get in there and get this challenge done.

Hyper Lethal Vector - Kill 100 enemies with headshots in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2000cR
Since you will be needing to play 2X Score Attack for the "Demon" challenge, scoring a hundred headshots should be pretty easy. 2X Score Attack starts you with a DMR, though there is not unlimited ammunition. Everything can be killed via a headshot, but you will likely need to work for some of them. However, damage is significantly increased so be careful to make sure you do not straight out kill the Covies on purpose without scoring headshots. You have two games to do this in so aim for at least fifty headshots a game.

Demon - Kill 40 Elites in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2800cR
Now, this is the challenge that is your focal point for the day. Due to this challenge, you will need to play two games of 2X Score Attack in the Score Attack playlist. The final wave of this gametype is twenty-plus Elites that you can kill quite easily. Now, you will likely not have a choice on which map you get as you should probably take the first one you see which has this gametype since that will likely make everything easier. If you can get a map that is an exterior, however, there is a chance you will have a drop-pod which might get you some extra Elite kills. Complete a second game of 2X Score Attack to complete the challenge.
