Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 11/15/11

The Challenges:
Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 150 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2250cR
A hundred and fifty kills will be easily attained due to the next challenge. "Hyper Lethal Vector" is requiring you to get two-hundred headshot kill in Firefight. That will very easily cover a hundred and fifty kill in any game mode in Reach. In short, as it usually is with these challenges, do not worry about it, other things will take care of it.

Hyper Lethal Vector - Kill 200 enemies with headshots in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3000cR
This will require two games of Firefight Matchmaking at least. My advice is to load up Gruntpocalypse and simple pour on headshot after headshot. You can easily get more than two hundred kills after two games as long as you are careful with your shots. Be patient and let the grunts come to you. As long as you are hitting at least a hundred headshots per game, you should be fine.

Deathless Pillar - Complete The Pillar of Autumn on Legendary without dying. - 5000cR
This will be the hardest challenge of the day and will likely take the longest. The Pillar of Autumn is a lengthy level, for sure, but it also has a lot of time where you are facing a large amount of enemies and it becomes akin to Firefight. Now, large portions of this level are quite simple and straight forward but there are some strategies that can be extremely useful if adhered to throughout the entire playthrough. Read the LASO guide for those strategies and tips. Now, remember that you can die as much as you want. Once you reach the last objective, which will be blowing the Covenant Corvette out of the sky, simply Save and Quit if you died. Then reload the game, complete it, and the challenge is yours.

Up Close and Personal - Kill 8 enemies with close quarters combat in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1600cR
This is a rather easy challenge and Grifball looks as though it is easily the best option to complete the challenge. Practically every kill in Grifball is a close quarters combat kill, except for kills made with the bomb. This means that Sword kills, Hammer kills, and even Bomb Kills are all considered close quarters kills. A single game should more than finish off this challenge for you so you can focus on other challenges. Good luck.
