Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 9/6/11 - Back to work and school kids...

The Challenges:
Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 1000cR
The challenges today can be done in relatively short order and you will not need to player more than a few games. A hundred kills will be easily accomplished since you will need to play about two to three games of Firefight Matchmaking for the required fifty Elite kills and you will also be playing one to three games of multiplayer Matchmaking to garner twenty kills with precision weapons. Sounds like a good day.

Demon - Kill 50 Elites in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1500cR
Fifty Elites can actually be a long grind to get if you are not playing the correct playlist. In regular Firefight Arcade or Limited, you might get ten or so per game. In regular Score Attack you would typically get five to ten per game. The trick is to play 2X Score Attack. The final wave of this gametype is always twenty plus Elites. You can also be lucky enough to get a drop-pod of four Elites to push that number up to almost thirty. Two to three games of 2X Score Attack and you should be set and have an extra fifteen hundred credits in the bank.

Linked Up with Bungie.net - Link your gamertag with Bungie.net and play a game in Halo: Reach Matchmaking. - 3000cR
This is a lot of credits for a very easy challenge. Why 343i is practically advertising for Bungie is beyond me, but Bungie is definitely worth the advertising and recognition. If you already have a Bungie.net account linked to you gamertag, you simply need to play a game and the challenge is yours. If you do not have an account, go to Bungie.net and create an account. When creating it, list your correct gamertag and link the two. Then you should be all set. When you next play a game the credits will be awarded.

This is My Rifle... - Earn 20 kills with precision weapons in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1000cR
Team SWAT or Team Snipers is really the best option for this challenge. Both games start you with precision weapons and that is typically all you can use, though you will normally have a pistol and can melee as well. Twenty kills should be doable within two games. It is possible to hit in one games as well, if the teams are drastically mismatched, though that typically does not happen. You might also be able to hit this challenge in MLG of The Arena since many of the starting loadouts in those games feature the DMR exclusively.
