Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 9/3/11 - You can sleep in today...

The Challenges:
Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1100cR
A hundred and twenty kills will be easy enough to score in Firefight. Typically, there are a hundred and twenty enemies in a single game of Score Attack. Whether you actually get to kill all those enemies is a different story. I would go for 2X Score Attack or Gruntpocalypse. You might need to play a game of Crashsite as well to polish off any remaining kills. You can also try Firefight Doubles if you are feeling adventurous.

Up Close and Personal - Kill 3 enemies with close quarters combat in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1000cR
So, this challenge is basically asking you to score three kills in a single game by either a melee, pummel, assassination, sword, hammer, shotgun, or any combination of the aforementioned methods. You can do this in practically any playlist. However, if you wish to ensure the three close quarters combat kills, play Grifball were you can only do close quarters combat kills unless you kill someone with the bomb.

Aggressive Negotiations - Earn at least 19 kills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1900cR
Like "Up Close and Personal," Grifball is probably your best option to score nineteen kills in a game. This is also possible in a majority of playlists like Team Objective and Multi Team, but Grifball is a gametype where games have a chance to bring in fifty plus kills depending on the teams. The games are often under ten minutes as well which makes Grifball the best bang for your buck in terms of kills per time spent.

L.D. Solace - Complete Long Night of Solace, without dying, on Legendary with Mythic, Thunderstorm, Tilt, and Tough Luck on. - 5000cR
Well, I doubt that anyone is particularly fond of this challenge. Long Night of Solace is a fun mission, but it is also extremely difficult once you amp up the difficulty. Thunderstorm and Mythic are the big issued here as the two skulls upgrade all enemies and double their health. The one trick for this challenge is that you can die, as much as you want. What you will need to do is "Save and Quit" before you go over and talk to Jorge at the end. Then "Resume Campaign" once in the menu and you can simply walk up to Jorge, complete the mission, and get the credits. As well, use this LASO guide for any trouble spots.

Two day left to complete the Weekly Challenge. See how to complete it here.
