Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 9/10/11

The Challenges:
Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 150 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 1125cR
All the other challenges today are specifically multiplayer Matchmaking, but this challenge can be completed in any gametype. If you have finished all the other challenge, do not be afraid to load up Campaign or Firefight and get kills in much faster. If you do get enough kills per game in multiplayer Matchmaking, then you probably will not even need to touch another mode to get this done.

Up Close and Personal - Kill 5 enemies with close quarters combat in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1100cR
Close quarters combat is a method of killing other players that you probably use often. This includes Melee, Assassination, Shotgun, Gravity Hammer, and Energy Sword kills and these are very easy to get. You can get this challenge one of two ways. Either play normally and hope for the opportunity to get close quarters combat kills or head to a gametype like Grifball where every single kill is a close quarters combat kill. Whichever way will get the job done but remember that the kills need to all be in the same game.

Neuroscience - Kill 10 enemies with headshots in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1200cR
Team SWAT is easily the best option for this challenge. Team Snipers is also viable, but Team SWAT has all players with no shields and a headshot capable weapon. You should be able to hit at least ten kills, but it might be a slightly difficult in a single game. If that is the case, try for some of the SWAT objective gametypes which pop up from time to time. This should give you the chance to nail those ten kills while everyone else is likely focused on capturing the objective.

The Magic Number - Complete 7 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1350cR
It is weird that on a weekend day we get a challenge to play seven games in multiplayer Matchmaking but, on a weekday, we get a challenge to play seventeen games. One is not really a challenge and one is an exceedingly hard challenge. Either way, seven games should be very easy to hit. You can play a combination of different gametypes but you need at least one game dedicated to close quarters combat kills and another game dedicated to precision weapons/headshot kills.
