Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 8/13/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1100cR
A lot of very easy challenges today and you will need to play Firefight, Multiplayer, and Campaign to get them all. First off is this challenges requiring you to get a hundred and twenty kills in Firefight Matchmaking. You can simply play a game or two of Score Attack and finish off this challenge, but I would also recommend playing Firefight Arcade or Doubles (per request!) to work on the Weekly Challenge of completing a hundred and fifty waves in Firefight Matchmaking. If you have already finished the Weekly, then just do Score Attack.

T-Hug It Out - Kill 4 enemies with close quarters combat in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1000cR
This should be simple enough to finish off during the four games you need to play. If you are extremely worried about this challenge, make one of the four games you play Grifball and this challenge will be taken care of. Personally, I always get a ton of melee kills in Matchmaking so Grifball is not a necessity for me to complete this challenge. Remember that Shotgun, Energy Sword, Gravity Hammer, Beat Downs, Pummeleds, and Assassinations all count as close quarters combat kills.

Eyes in the Sky - Kill 10 enemies with the Designator in ONI on Heroic. - 1000cR
This challenge can be completed in a matter of minutes. Load up ONI: Swordbase on Heroic on Rally Point Bravo. Once it starts, drive up to the objective and get inside the "garage". To your right is the Target Locator, which you would have already used up had you played earlier. Grab and use it on the incoming Covies for a bunch of very easy kills. You should be able to hit ten here, but sometimes the Elites like to suddenly fall back. You do have two shots, so if you can peg an Elite, you should be all set to get your ten kills and be done with the challenge.

Participation Counts - Complete 4 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1200cR
I wonder why on the weekends we get a challenge for completing four games and during the week we get challenges asking us to complete fifteen or twenty games. It makes very little sense to me, but it does make the challenges easier for you today. Just play whatever you feel like and have fun doing it. It is four simple games and should not be a strain at all.
