Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 8/7/11

The Challenges:
Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1100cR
With any luck, this challenge will only take up a single game. My advice is to stick to the Score Attack playlist. Gruntpocalypse and 2X Score Attack are always good option since you almost always get up to a hundred and twenty enemies. Stay away from regular Score Attack since you end up only near a hundred or so enemies. Sniper and Rocket Attack are also fine but would probably also be cutting it close.

The Love of the Game - Complete 20 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2000cR
Well, this is a ton of games for a single day but it is also incentive to help you finish the Weekly Challenge which requires fifty total wins this week by the end of today. If you are still searching for wins, stick to two team playlists with low numbers of players. Gametypes like BTB are always toss ups that could go either way. On the other hand, if you are already finished up the weekly challenge, or just need very few wins, Living Dead and Grifball are typically the fastest playlist and should let you knock this challenge out in a few hours.

On the Sixth Respawn... - Complete a Firefight Matchmaking game with fewer than 5 deaths. - 2000cR
You should have absolutely no problem getting this done while going for the "Covenant-cide" challenge. Actually, I would be willing to be that you can get through a game of Gruntpocalypse or 2X Score Attack with zero deaths. In all seriousness, stick to the DMR in either gametype and know the location of your Ammo crates. The DMR destroys everything it comes across in those playlist and you should be able to ride it to challenge completion.

Leadership Element - Kill 30 enemy leaders in the Campaign today. - 1000cR
Best way to complete this challenge is with a run-through of ONI: Swordbase. Set the difficulty to Heroic to limit the kill-stealing of your AI teammates and get to taking out those Elite. With a single run-through and no deaths, you should have no trouble hitting thirty kills and should actually be well on your way to forty or more enemy leader kills. Puts you well over the required number.

Last day to finish off the Weekly Challenge.  See how to here.
