Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 8/6/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:

One Spartan Army - Kill 100 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1000cR
This will take you a single game of Firefight. You can get this done in either Score Attack, Firefight Arcade, or Firefight Limited. Score Attack and Limited are probably the better options since you can easily rack up a hundred kills, though Limited will take quite a bit longer and you may not reach the number if you have lackluster teammates. If you are pressed for time, stick to 2X Score Attack or Gruntpocalypse.

T-Hug It Out - Kill 7 enemies with close quarters combat in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1400cR
This challenge is best completed in Grifball. It is definitely possible in other playlists, but Grifball is basically a guarantee of completion. Whether you kill your opponent with the Energy Sword or the Gravity Hammer, the kills will be close quarters. Even killing another player with the bomb counts as a close quarters combat kill. As you can see, basically any kill you get in Grifball satisfies the challenge. This challenge should be done in a single game.

Vengeance Found - Earn your 'Revenge' in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1000cR
Getting the Revenge medal is done by you dying, and then you coming back and killing the player who killed you before anyone else does. This can be irritating with playlist that have large numbers of players, like Multi Team. You might as well go for this in objective games so everyone's single purpose will not be to kill everything wearing a different color from them. You would probably have good luck getting this while going for the "T-Hug It Out" challenge.

Lost Tyree, Lost Hutch - Complete Long Night of Solace on Legendary without dying. - 1900cR
"...they came in from behind!" Oh, hey, sorry, was just reliving that scene from A New Hope... Anyway, Long Night of Solace can very quickly be one of the more annoying missions. In fact, it probably ranks in the top three difficulty wise. Stick to this LASO guide for strategies and tips. Luckily, this is basically LASO without the "ASO" You just need the difficulty up to Legendary but no need for any skulls. That should make this mission a ton easier but most of the strategies in the LASO guide are still valid.
