The Challenges:
Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 400 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 4000cR
Today, there is, actually, one very interesting detail you can figure out from who selects these challenges - he is apparently a complete asshole. Lets ignore the meager credit-rewards for these inane challenges, even though that is adding to the situation. Who the hell would give someone these challenge in the same day? Fifteen wins in multiplayer and a thousand kills on a specific map in Firefight? Yeah, asshole comes to mind. Regardless, at least this challenge, asking for four-hundred kills, will be taken care of regardless.
Just Holdout - Kill 1000 enemies on Holdout in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3000cR
Huck It, Luck It - Complete a Campaign mission on Heroic with Cloud, Tough Luck, and Catch on. - 2000cR
These is the really easy challenge of the day as it only requires you to complete a single campaign mission with these three skulls on. Cloud will take away your radar while Tough Luck makes enemies dodge more and Catch makes them throw grenades more. Those do not really matter as you will be doing a speed run of Nightfall to complete this challenge as quickly as possible. A link to the speedrun guide can be found right here. This should only take you ten minutes and not really interfere with the other challenges today,
Who's the Big Winner? - Win 15 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 3000cR
This is the pivotal challenge of the day and a real "WTF" when combined with the "Just Holdout" challenge. And this challenge does not ask you to just complete games, but to win fifteen of them. That is a very tall order for a single day. In fact, by the time you complete this challenge, you may very well be at the Daily Credit Limit, which would make it all kind of pointless. And this is worth well more than three-thousand Credits. Well, regardless, here are some tips to help you. First off, take breaks often. Do not, I repeat, do not try to sit down and win all fifteen games in one go. It just will not happen. Take breaks whenever you get frustrated. Secondly, stick to gametypes that you enjoy and are good at. Now is likely not the time to explore and end up aggravated after finding out that you really hate a certain playlist. Finally, try to play with friends or people who you know are good. This will make getting those wins a lot easier.
