Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 4/10/12

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
One Spartan Army - Kill 400 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2000cR
A single game in the Firefight Matchmaking Score Attack playlist will typically get you about a hundred and twenty kills per game. By doing very complex and confusing math, I have determined that you must play at least four games in the Score Attack playlist to complete this challenge. The easiest gametypes are 2X Score Attack and Gruntpocalypse. The smaller the map the better as that will significantly speed up the game and help you get the challenge done faster.

Survivor - Earn 5 sprees in Firefight Matchmaking game. - 2000cR

This is a really easy challenge to complete and it should not really require any extra effort on your part to complete. Basically, you are awarded a spree in Firefight Matchmaking every ten kills you achieve as long as they are not interrupted by your death. When you get to fifty kills, you will have this challenge fully completed and it should need no more work. You will get this done while working on the "One Spartan Army" challenge, so there is no real reason to even worry about it.

Golden Opportunity - Find and kill the Gold Ranger-class Elite in any Campaign mission on Heroic or harder. - 5343cR
The easiest Gold Ranger-class Elite (or BoB) to kill is on the level ONI: Swordbase. Start from Rally Point Bravo and drive into the base. Up the ramp and to the left there, there is often a BoB that you can kill quickly if you grab the Target Designator and tag him. If he is not there, please note that he will disappear eventually and does move fast, there might be another one near the multiplayer Shotgun spawn later in the map. If neither of these two are there, start over again. And make sure you are on at least Heroic.

Home Field Advantage - Win 8 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 4400cR
This challenge will run hand in hand with the Weekly Challenge, though it is well more than you need to hit per a single day. Infact, this challenge will take care of almost a third of the Weekly Challenge in a single go. The tips, however, remain the same: First off, play in a playlist in which you typically have success in and enjoy playing in. It is probably not a good idea to try and find every playlist you hate this week. Secondly, play with people you know as you will likely do better. You will likely have a better idea of how they will react and how to work with them in situations. Finally, take breaks if you get frustrated or are having a bad streak. You only need for wins a day so do not stress out about it.
