Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 3/27/12

The Challenges:
Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3200cR
You do not even need to worry about this challenge as it will be taken care of by the other challenges today, most notably the "Going Outpost-al" challenge that is asking you to score a hundred and twenty-five kills on Outpost in Firefight Matchmaking. Getting a hundred and twenty-five kills there will take care of the a hundred and twenty need for this challenge since it does not need to be done in a single game. Problem solved, move on.

Going Outpost-al - Kill 125 enemies on Outpost on Heroic in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1100cR

A typical game in the Score Attack playlist, like 2X Score Attack or Gruntpocalypse, will get you about a hundred and twenty kills. That will be just short of the required kills for this challenge. So a second game is pretty much going to be required for this challenge. If you have the chance, go for a game of Crashsite on this map. A game of Crashsite will allow you to get the kills you need and then you can either die or let the generator explode to end the game. Otherwise, you will simply need to play through an entire extra game just to get these few kills.

Leadership Element - Kill 45 enemy leaders in the Campaign today. - 2200cR
Enemy leaders, though the numbers should be broader, are actually just Elites. This challenge and the one asking you to just kill Elites are the same exact thing. Therefore, you will need to play through a level like ONI: Swordbase or through Long Night of Solace from Rally Point Brave. Both will likely end you just short of the required kills for this challenge, which means you will likely be hitting up a second play through to complete, though it should not be too bad.

Participation Counts - Complete 4 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2400cR
Four games should be pretty easy to complete and will only take you about an hour or less to do. Games like Grifball and Living Dead can be fast, but can also be very long and very aggravating games. Team SWAT is a good alternative as long as your are on a small map, like Uncaged or Zealot, as kills are acquired quickly over long range and in tight. You can hammer all these games out in one sitting before or after you play your campaign and Firefight games for the other challenges today.
