Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 3/2/12

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
Fire When Ready - Kill 30 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1100cR
So it is all multiplayer Matchmaking today, just as yesterday was all Firefight Matchmaking. It is a redundant pattern, but at least it is a pattern. Thirty enemies will be easily taken care of by the other challenges. So, in total, not much to worry about today and just do the other challenges as you normally would. Move along.

T-Hug It Out - Kill 6 enemies with close quarters combat in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2400cR

To get a close quarters combat kill, you will need to kill an opponent via an Energy Sword, Gravity Hammer, Melee, Assassination, Melee with a bomb or skull, or a Shotgun. Grifball is easily your best option for this challenge as every kill in the playlist is basically a close quarters combat kill. Also, since you will typically get about thirty kills a game, it is even more appealing. Living Dead is also a great option if you stick to the using a shotgun as a survivor. Pick your poison for this one.

Triple Thrill - Earn any 3 Sprees in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2000cR
A spree in multiplayer Matchmaking is five kills uninterrupted by death or the end of a round. Getting three in any gametype is generally a challenging and frustrating experience. Living Dead is a viable option for this challenge since, as a survivor, sprees are entirely common. Now, this challenge does not state that the said spree have to be killing sprees, but they most likely do need to be. Play a game of Living Dead and get a spree as a survivor. If it awards you two sprees for the challenge, then you can get any type of spree for the challenge. If it awards you one, then they must be killing sprees. Team Objective is also a good playlist for this challenge as you can bushwhack players going for the objective and rack up some nice sprees.

Put Your Quarter Up - Complete 10 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1500cR
Ten games will be the crux of the challenges today. On the bright side, you do not have to win the games, just complete them. Now, you cannot be kicked, drop, or quit from a game for it to count towards completion of this challenge. You will need to go out of your way for this one as the other Weekly Challenges will only account for maybe three or four games today. Grifball and Team SWAT have short-ish games but they can also be very long. Team Slayer might also be ideal if you are just looking for a regular game.
