Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 3/8/12

The Challenges:
Light Fare - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 3000cR
Extremely easy challenges today that will have you playing two games of Firefight Matchmaking, which will bring in about two hundred and forty kills, and then a game of Grifball, Team Objective. or Multi Team that should bring in about twenty to thirty kills. This should put you well over the a hundred kills needed for this challenge. However, today is a really easy day so get everything done quick so you can relax. I will be digging into some other games later in the day.

One Game, One Spawn - Complete a Firefight Matchmaking game without dying. - 2000cR

There is a fairly easy way to get this challenge done as long as the option appears for you in matchmaking. You will want to pick a game like 2X Score Attack or Gruntpocalypse (that is the preferred one) on the map Beachhead or Glacier. Both Maps feature hiding spots that can be reached via the Jet-pack. Both spots are outside the initial spawn and are essentially ledges that are not in any sort of kill zones. Just take out the enemies from this spot and you should be able to finish the game without a single death. Easy as can be.

Killagruntjaro! - Earn 7 multikills in a Firefight Matchmaking game. - 2000cR
A multikill is a set of two kill made within four seconds of each other by a single player. You will see and know these as Double Kills, Triple Kills, Overkills, and so on. An important thing to note is that a Double Kill counts as a single multikill, not two. You will need to score seven in a single game, which can be a very tall order. My personal suggestion is that you hit Grifball since that gametypes is made for scoring tons of kills and multikills. Multi Team and Team Objective are also some options, but Grifball is the best.

Survivor - Earn 9 Sprees in a Firefight Matchmaking game. - 2000cR
Unfortunately, you will not be able to complete this challenge while doing the "One Game, One Spawn" challenge. In Firefight Matchmaking, you will get a spree every ten kills until you get to fifty kills. After that, the sprees come at a hundred, five-hundred, and a thousand kills. You will only be able to hit the spree for a hundred in a single game and, even then, that would not be enough for this challenge. This means that you will need to purposefully die so that you can hit nine sprees during the single game. It does kind of suck, but that is the reality of it.

  1. For the sprees you do not need to die. You can get sniper sprees, sword sprees, shotgun sprees, assist sprees and many others

    1. Ahh, so those are back to counting now? That changed it a while ago to where it was only killing sprees in multiplayer. It seems that the change has been rescinded at least from Firefight.

      Thanks.
