Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 3/17/12

The Challenges:
Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3200cR
You will hopefully complete this challenge while working on the "Weapon Swap" challenge as you will need to play a single game in the Score Attack playlist for that challenge, which will usually give you about a hundred and twenty kills. There is a decently high chance that you will fall a couple kills short but this challenge does not require you to score this many kills in a single game. Just play a second game, Crashsite if you can, to finish off the challenge and get to the multiplayer portion of today's challenges.

You Want This, Don't You? - Earn 14 kills with precision weapons in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2000cR

This challenge will require you to play a game in either the Team Snipers or Team SWAT playlists. Both playlists start you with precision weapons (The Sniper and DMR, respectively) and those are really the only weapons you can use besides the pistol. Fourteen kills is doable in a single slayer game, but will be challenging. These playlists, on rare occassion, have objective gametypes pop up. I would pick those in a heartbeat as they would allow you to get a bunch of kills in a single game, which is perfect for this challenge.

Weapon Swap - Earn 10 sprees in a Firefight Matchmaking game on Heroic or harder. - 2000cR

According to recent reports, weapon and assist sprees now count towards the completion of this challenge which makes everything a lot easier. You do not even need to die to get all these sprees which is likely a welcome relief. You will receive Killing Sprees every ten kills and weapon sprees every five kills. If you only stick to a single weapon like the Sniper, you will get to only nine sprees before the end of the game. You will need to get a Spartan Laser, Shotgun, Energy Sword, Sticky Grenade, or splatter enemies with a vehicle to get that last spree. If you do not have access to any of those, just die and then restart you sprees to complete the challenge. I would recommend Sniper Attack in the Score Attack playlist for this challenge.

Put Your Quarter Up - Complete 12 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 3200cR

Twelve games is definitely a hand full for a single day. Luckily, you will be going for wins today for the Weekly Challenge, which will likely take care of some of these games for you. Just try to play in playlists that you enjoy, as the day moves along. I would not try to hit all of these in a single sitting as that is an absurd amount of games to play all at once. Take breaks and try to play with friends to make the games go faster.
