Halo Reach Daily and Weekly Challenges Guide - 1/16/12

The Challenges:
Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3200cR
You will seemingly be playing every single mode today, except for Custom Games and Forge. Now, this challenge is the lone one requiring you to play Firefight Matchmaking. A hundred and twenty kills is very easy to come by and will generally take a single game to complete. There is a chance that you will fall a couple kill short however, due to enemies killing themselves. If this happens, play a single game of Crashsite. In Crashsite you can get the necessary kills and then end the game by dying or letting the generator explode.

This is My Rifle... - Earn 77 kills with precision weapons in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1400cR
Two playlists are great for this challenge. As you might expect, those are Team SWAT and Team Snipers as both start you with precision weapons. Both gametypes also allow for one-shot, head-shot kills with those weapons. Seventy-seven kills is quite a bit though and I would expect it to take a decent amount of games to complete. Expect to hit about ten to fifteen kills a game which means this will take about six to eight games to complete. Objective gametypes are very good in these playlists as you can rack up more kills, as well.

The Dream Shake - Earn 4 Double Kills in the same match in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 4000cR
The easiest way to complete this challenge is to play a game of Grifball. That is seriously all it will take. A Double Kill in multiplayer Matchmaking is two kills within four seconds of each other. This is an entirely common occurrence in Grifball and getting four Double Kills in the same game should be pretty easy. Note that these all need to be done in the same game but this will only take one game in Grifball anyway.

Deathless Package - Complete The Package on Legendary without dying. - 4400cR
This challenge is actually harder to do than the Nightfall: LASO Weekly Challenge but it should not take too long. You can actually die as much as you want while playing, and that will likely happen if you are trying to get through this level quickly while on Legendary. What you need to do is to get to the final objective, which is entering Halsey's facility and die as much as you want up until that point. Now, Save and Quit the game to get to the main menu. After that, Resume Campaign and complete the final objective. Now you will have "complete" the level without dying. Congratulations!

The Weekly Challenge:
Nightfall: LASO - Complete Nightfall, Legendary, All Skulls On (LASO). - 12000cR
This is a laughable Weekly Challenge, at best. Nightfall is, by far, the easiest level to run on LASO difficulty and the shortest. All in all, it will take you about seven to ten minutes to complete. You will be running through the entire level as fast as you can but halting in some areas. Now, follow this guide for the run to see where you need to go. There is also video of the run here. There will probably be some misfires, and lining up the forklift is a pain, but expect this to take about three or four tries.
