Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 12/14/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below! As a note, I am no longer writing on Examiner.com due to a lack of time.

The Challenges:
Gunslinger - Kill 150 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 5500cR
Typically, a hundred and fifty kills is a decent chunk of time in multiplayer Matchmaking. However, you will likely be playing a bunch of games today for the "Home Field Advantage" challenge which is asking you to win seven games. As long as you are playing well in each game and scoring about fifteen kills, you can have this done in ten game. If you get seven wins fast and still need kills, go play Grifball, which gives about thirty to forty kills a game.

Heroic Holdout - Kill 125 enemies on Holdout on Heroic in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3300cR
Now, this challenge will likely require of games of Firefight on the map Holdout. Typically, you will get a hundred and twenty kills per game, and maybe a little extra if you get a drop shop. You will, however, most likely be short some kills. Therefore you will need to play a second game on the map. If you are lucky enough to get the Crashsite gametype for this map the second time around take it. Otherwise, you will need to play through another full game.

Deathless Package - Complete The Package on Legendary without dying. - 4400cR
Like all of these "Deathless" challenges, you do not have to actually complete it without dying. What you need to do instead is to play through the level on Legendary with no skulls on and die as much as you want. Once you get to the last objective, which is hitting the switch to enter Halsey's lab, you will Save and Quit the game. Resume Campaign and hit that button to complete the challenge. Here is the LASO guide which has some useful strategies for getting through the level in general.

Home Field Advantage - Win 7 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2050cR
This, as usual will be a pain, especially for a Wednesday. Seven wins is a lot if you do not have a ton of time to play, and especially since you will have to play Firefight and one of the longer campaign missions on Legendary. However, follow some rules and you should be able to score wins. First off, stick to gametypes with two teams only. Anything else is just lowering your odds. Secondly, communicate with your teammates. You likely have a mic, so use it. Lastly, try to have fun. If you are not having fun and are frustrated, take a break and cool down.
