The Challenges:
One Spartan Army - Kill 100 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2000cR
This challenge will be easily taken care of by "The T.G. Opposition" challenge which is requiring forty kills with the Shotgun in a game of Firefight. However, if you go ahead and complete the game of 2X Score Attack which I am suggesting you play, you will end up with about a hundred and twenty kills. Last time I checked, a hundred and twenty is more than a hundred so this challenge is covered.
The best playlist to get this challenge done in is the Score Attack playlist and, specifically, we will be aiming for the 2X Score Attack gametype. One of the loadouts features the Shotgun and we will be using that for this challenge. You do have limited ammunition so stick near the ammo crates. Due to the increased damage, the Shotgun ends up with some increased range and will help you get to forty kills that much faster. Expect this challenge to take a single game.
Like a Glove - Complete a Campaign mission on Heroic or harder with the Catch Skull on. - 2500cR
As usual, the fastest way to complete this challenge is to run through Nightfall on Heroic with the Catch Skull on. A guide to do so is right here with video through the link. It should take you no more than ten minutes but no less than six. However, the only thing the Catch Skull does is that it makes the Covies throw grenades more often. Ignoring the fact that they already have shitty aim, this actually increases the chances that smaller enemies will grenade themselves and any other Covies around them. This might actually make some levels easier.
T-Hug It Out - Kill 6 enemies with close quarters combat in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2400cR
A simple challenge that should not take a long time at all. Load up the Grifball playlist and simply play a single game. Unless you are idle or not trying to actually play the game and are just jumping up and down in the corner talking to yourself, then you should have no trouble getting six close quarters combat kills. The Energy Sword, the Gravity Hammer, and the Bomb (when used to melee) all count as close quarters combat kills. It really could not get easier.
