Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 12/10/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below! As a note, I am no longer writing on Examiner.com due to a lack of time.

The Challenges:
Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3200cR
You will be required to play several of the different modes of Halo Reach today as you have at least one daily challenge in all of them. The only modes you do not need to play today are the Theater and Forge modes. For this challenge, you will simply need to play a single game of Score Attack. Gruntpocalypse is OK for this challenge, but the Grunts have a tendency to kill themselves so you might be better off with 2X Score Attack. If you fall short, try for a game of Crashsite to finish off the remaining kills.

Now I have a Machine Gun - Earn 60 kills with automatic weapons in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1350cR
This will likely be that challenge that takes up most of your time today. You need to score sixty kills with an automatic weapon (Assault Rifle, Needler, Plasma Rifle, Plasma Repeater) in multiplayer Matchmaking. Multi Team, which I am suggesting you play for the "Light Fuse, Run Away" challenge, is probably the best playlist for this challenge since there are a large amount of targets who are weakening each other so you can swoop in and steal the kills. Sixty kills will likely take a while so expect this to take about six to eight games to complete unless you have some awesome games.

Light Fuse, Run Away - Kill 4 enemies with grenades in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 500cR
Multi Team is probably my favorite playlist for getting grenade kills as long as you are on a small map. Countdown is a great map as is Zealot since they both have small central spaces that players tend to openly gather in to melee each other. This is a great place to toss some grenades into the crowd and rack up some very easy kills. Remember that you need to get four grenade kills in a single game but you should get this done in a single game.

On Tilt - Complete a Campaign mission on Heroic or harder with the Tilt Skull on. - 1750cR
As usual with any Skull-based challenge asking you to complete a campaign mission, your best bet is to run the mission Nightfall. The mission can be run on Heroic difficulty in under ten minutes. Follow the guide here to see how to speed-run through the level. The Tilt skull modifies the damage tables so you do less damage and the Covenant do more so if you have trouble on Heroic difficulty, speed-running is probable a good idea.
