Halo Reach Daily and Weekly Challenges Guide - 10/10/11

The Challenges:
Fire When Ready - Kill 50 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 3000cR
Fifty kills should be extremely easy to come by today, just on the fact that you are playing at least twelve games today for the "Put Your Quarter Up" challenge. You will likely be hitting up Grifball first for the Weekly Challenge which means you will probably hit these fifty kills in the first two games. If not, keep at it since you will likely need a tone of kills to hit thirty Multikills and beyond.

Golden Opportunity - Find and kill the Gold Ranger-class Elite in any Campaign mission on Heroic or harder. - 5000cR
So, we have done this a lot over the last five weeks or so (I think this is probably the third or fourth time we have had this challenge) and this is probably old hat for most of you now. The easiest level to take care of this on is ONI: Swordbase. Load up Rally Point Bravo on Heroic and head to the garage. If you are lucky, the Gold Ranger-class Elite (a.k.a. BoB) will be up the ramp and the to the left. Take him out as quickly as you can. If he is not there, continue on through the level until you get to the part that is the multiplayer level. The BoB may be at the bottom of the ramp above shotgun spawn. He will be very easy to assassinate if you take him from the side.

Put Your Quarter Up - Complete 12 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 3200cR
Twelve games is a lot of work for a Monday, but at least you do not have to win twelve games. You will be playing a lot of Grifball for the Weekly challenge, but after that I would switch around and hit Living Dead. Alpha Zombies is regularly clocking in, for me, as the shortest gametype, depending on the map. You will also need to take care of the "Neuroscience" challenge, though that can possibly be done in Living Dead as well. If Living dead is not to your liking, play whatever gametype you enjoy.

Neuroscience - Kill 10 enemies with headshots in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 3200cR
This will likely be your easiest challenge of the day. You really have two good options for this challenge though one can be exceedingly frustrating. Team SWAT is your first choice as everyone starts with no shields and headshot capable weapons. Many, do not like this gametype, however, so Living Dead is another alternative. However, Living Dead can be just as frustrating if you do not get a lot chances to be a survivor. In either gametype, you will need ten headshot kills in a single game. Good luck.

The Weekly Challenge:
Multiplicative - Earn 200 Multikills in multiplayer Matchmaking this week. - 25000cR
If we do the math on this one, two-hundred Multikills over a single week comes to about thirty Multikills a day. If you keep that up and do exactly thirty a day, you will, obviously, end up with two-hundred and ten Multikills. You can hit more or less than thirty each day, but just make sure that you do not leave yourself a huge hole later in the week that will be difficult to climb out of. I would try to hit above thirty a day now, when you can, so other stuff does not come up later in the week to ruin your chances of getting this challenge done.

Now, the next question is what playlist is best for this challenge. I am sure that most of you already know that answer and it is Grifball. There is a chance that you could get thirty Multikills in a single game in Grifball if the teams are evenly matched. Likely, you will have your daily quota met in two to three game. I would play four or five games just to make sure you are getting Multikills while you can. Multikills can, of course, be gotten in all other playlists but are much more difficult to come by.
