Halo 4 Campaign Weekly Challenges - 3/11/13

The Challenges:
Oh, It's On! - Complete any Campaign Mission on Heroic or higher difficulty with the Mythic, Tilt, Storm and Tough Luck skulls. - 10000 XP
This is all still running in the same patter as before to the surprise of absolutely no one. I wonder if 343 knows that they are slowly killing Halo with all this crap. Probably not, but they will figure it out eventually, one might hope. The only real difference is that this one can be on Heroic instead of Legendary. None of these need to be done solo and if you want to get this out of the way now, you can run through the level Dawn on the lower difficulty. Check the challenge below to see the various effects of the skulls. In all honesty, just get this done when doing "Forerunner Fragfest" as it is a alot easier that way.

Forerunner Fragfest - Complete Forerunner on Legendary difficulty with the Mythic, Tilt, Tough Luck and Thunderstorm skulls. - 30000 XP
Rinse and repeat. Just keep at it at this point. Forerunner is the first level in which you encounter the Prometheans and here are some strategies for them. First off, kill Watchers first. These annoying pests spawn Crawlers, can resurrect Knights, and can randomly shield whoever they feel like. Killing them should always be a priority. For taking down Knights, any sort of automatic weapon (i.e. the AR, Storm Rifle, SAW, Suppressor) are fantastic for taking down their shields. Knights have a very small area in which you can headshot them with precision weapons to score the kill after the shields have been taken out. Remember that when the Covenant shows up, let them and the Prometheans fight. No need to jump into that battle. Now, the Mythic skull will double all enemy health, the Tilt skull will make then stronger, the Tough Luck skull will cause them to dodge a lot, and the Thunderstorm skull will upgrade all enemies. Since this does not need to be done solo, grab a friend or three and make it easier on yourself.
