Halo 4 Campaign Weekly Challenge - 11/12/12

The Challenges:

The Toughest of Luck - Complete any Campaign Mission on Heroic or Higher difficulty with the Tough Luck skull. - 2000 XP
So, the Tough Luck skull just causes all enemies to dodge a lot and become "berserked" more often (which means Grunts charging at you with Grenades kamikaze style). This really does not make the campaign too much harder but, if you are doing "That's No Moon!" for the first time solo Legendary, I would not recommend doing having this skull on. An easier alternative is to use the Skull on the level Dawn, which was by far the easiest of the eight. All other missions have Prometheans in some form, so they instantly become more challenging than just fighting regular Covenant.

That's No Moon! - Complete Requiem solo on Legendary Difficulty - 4750 XP
Well, it seems as though 343i wants to make sure that everyone gets the "Lone Wolf Legend" achievement completed so they may be walking us through, mission by mission every week. Personally, I think this kind of sucks, as we could get more interesting Weekly Campaign Challenges, but alas. Now, I would not try to complete this challenge while working on "The Toughest of Luck" challenge. Requiem is actually a decently long level and making it harder on yourself is not a great idea. All of this level is just facing your standard Covenant forces so there are no special techniques except to make sure you utilize you armor abilities and just take it slow. Another thing to be mindful of is that you use appropriate weapons at appropriate times. I.e. do not waste a rocket on a single Grunt that you can just go melee. As well, you can die as much as you want, so do not be afraid to fail and restart a section. This isn't LASO, yet.
